INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE AND MAINTAINCE:
- Recycled teak as such is composed of different lots of wood assembled together and of cuttings of wood that cover the holes originally present in the material.
- Other imperfections, such as cracks, rough parts and black spots due to the oxidation of nails in the wood and deriving from its previous use, do not alter its durability but confer uniqueness to each piece.
- The original color of teak can turn to silver-grey over time.
- If not treated regularly with special products, teak can change color and be subject to natural cracks.
- To clean the product- before an eventual winter storage-it is advisable to treat teak wood using a soft brush following the grain of wood to better remove dust or dirt, then leave outside to dry at warm temperature.
- Treat and oil the product: It is advisable to first try on a non-visible part .
- Wood is a natural material that changes and stabilizes over time.
- Screws and bolts must be checked and tightened regularly, otherwise the product can be dangerous and damage may occur.
- Do not cover the product with materials that do not allow air pass through them causing humidity (for example pvc or plastic table mat).
- It is advisable to store the product in a dry and ventilated place before winter or during the long periods it is not in use, in order to preserve its characteristics over time.
